I hail from Northeast Ohio and studied engineering at RPI. I soldiered for 17 years in the Army as an infantryman in just about every type of infantry unit there is: Leg (9ID), Light (7ID), Airborne (1/509 ABCT), Ranger (2-75 Inf), Mech (8ID), and Bradley (1AD). Along the way, I needed to attain a secondary specialty, so I picked up Programmer/Analyst by working at a Data Processing Installation for a year.

Shortly after transitioning from M113s to M2 Bradleys, I got the opportunity to attend the Bradley Master Gunner School. At the time I separated, I was the Bradley Master Gunner for 1st Armored Division. Iron Mike Golf was my last radio callsign.

After separating, I spent a couple of years as a contract tactical trainer in Saudi Arabia, teaching the RSLF about Bradleys and gunnery.

For the last 15 years or so, my day job has been software engineering electronic heath record products. I’ve been a gamer since playing Blitzkrieg at age 13. I met Rob and Jim at Origins 2015 and we had several long discussions that resulted in me coming to the team.
